Meet the Teachers
Hi! Our names are Ms. Malluzzo and Mrs. Ricca and we will be your second grade teachers at Red Bank Primary School. We are so grateful to have, what we believe as, the best job in the world! We are looking forward to a wonderful school year filled with lots of learning and fun. We are excited to work together and get to know each and every one of you!
A little bit about Ms. Malluzzo...
In 2018, I graduated from Monmouth University and earned a Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education, English K-6, and special education. In 2020, I earned my Master's degree in Education and received my ESL certification. In April of 2018, I began my #RBBisBIA journey as a third grade teacher. One year later, I was hired as a full time teacher in second grade and I could not be any more happier! Aside from school and teaching, I have 2 dogs named Pinky and Willie, who I love with all my heart. I also love going to the beach, hanging out with family, and cooking.
A little bit about Mrs. Ricca...
In 2010, I graduated from East Stroudsburg University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary and Special Education. I began my first teaching job as a Paraprofessional in September 2010. While there I got to work closely with the man who eventually became my husband! During my first teaching job working as a Paraprofessional I enrolled in the American Sign Language-English Interpreting program at Union County College. I graduated with a certificate in January of 2014. I am fluent in American Sign Language. In October of 2011, I began my full-time teaching job as a third-grade teacher in North Brunswick. I taught in North Brunswick for seven years before transitioning my teaching journey to Red Bank. This is my tenth-year teaching. I have experience teaching Kindergarten through 4th grade. My husband and I welcomed our first daughter in August of 2016 and our second daughter in January of 2020! We love to spend time together as a family. This summer we spent a lot of time outdoors, at the beach and the spray park. We also love to have our movie nights together!
